We stopped by Lean to Coffee on our way out of Isle of Skye. There are no toilets and all seating is outdoors (but heated). We got mochas which was delicious. We also tried the full hat (venison salami) and barefooters (mushroom) toastie, which are served after 9:30 AM. These toasties were fresh, warm, and gooey. We enjoyed both flavors. They had 4 pastries available when we visited - vanilla cream cheese bun, blueberry muffin, strawberry cardamom bun, and cinnamon roll. We tried all 4 - they were all delicious but my favorite was actually the blueberry muffin. This is a great stop for coffee, toasties, and pastries while in Isle of Skye.

Beautiful stop. The actual coffee bar was very nicely done, and the seating areas were very rustic and preserved well. My Americano and cookie were over the top. Branding is great too. Thank you all for providing a great stop on our trip through!!

A genuinely good cup of coffee! We’d been camping for several days/nights over Scotland and after being subjected to numerous filter coffees that just tasted flat and lifeless, it was super refreshing to enjoy an all rounder good coffee from here! Careful though as it can be missed if not paying attention!! An unassuming location for a coffee house, so I’m glad we had been recommended it and were on the lookout for it. I had an iced vanilla latte and we shared one of the home baked white choc & rasp cookies (sweet lord - this is a must!) I really loved my experience and was perfect to enjoy on a beautiful Scottish sunny day.

Stumbled upon this adorable roadside coffee shop, cleverly converted from an old abandoned house, it's so charming. The cakes? Absolutely divine! From classic treats to innovative vegan options, every bite is a delight. And the coffee? Perfectly brewed and rich. What truly sets this spot apart, though, is the friendly staff who makes your visit a treat. Plus, the sheltered seating area is a lovely touch, perfect for rainy days or a peaceful afternoon retreat. If you're passing by, do stop in and experience this hidden gem for yourself. Can't wait to go back!

Happened to go there on a rainy morning. The place is quaint and cute. The owner brought freshly baked cinnamon buns out as we just entered the shop and we took one. No complaints there, the bun was awesome. The owner was very friendly. The sitting area was nice as well. We reached there quite early and didn't expect any toasties. But we just asked and they happened to have them prepped. We tried the veggie one with onion jam and it was absolutely . Will love to go back there. Had a great experience

These guys know and care about good coffee. The coffee was made to perfection, strong, rich and bang on temperature. One of the best coffee’s I have had, genuinely that good. The homemade cinnamon buns, vanilla buns tasted amazing and homemade scones, muffins were fresh out the oven and bagels looks fresh and very tasty. Really unique quirky seating, a true jewel of Skye. Kudos to the owners and guys running it.

Super friendly and welcoming staff. We were lucky to visit on a warm sunny day so the place had a wonderful vibe (think Greek island where life moves at a slower pace). Love the concept and the food and coffees were the best we've had in a long time. Staff were chatty and friendly and no ask was too much for them. I would definitely recommend this little gem if you are visiting Skye as it really set us up for a great visit on Skye.
